Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Drive

Participation in this event is mandatory


Cadets will assist the Royal Canadian Legion with their annual poppy drive by offering poppies and collecting donations at locations around Georgetown. Cadets are required to participate in a minimum of 2 shifts.


34 Cadets are required for each shift.  Cadets must sign up on 19 and 26 October at the Armoury


Parents are needed to assist with driving. Parents are requested to please check in with the duty staff when dropping off your Cadet at the Legion.


Dress for this activity is C-1 Ceremonial


Cadets are to be picked up and dropped off at the Legion, 127 Mill St Georgetown.


Participation in this event qualifies for community hours.


Scheduled Shifts: (Cadets must participate in a minimum of 2 shifts)

1. Friday 28 October 1730 - 2000hrs (drop off & pick up at the Legion 127 Mill St)


2. Saturday 29 October 0845 - 1200hrs  (drop off & pick up at the Legion 127 Mill St)

    Lunch 1200-1300 at the Legion


3. Saturday 29 October 1300 - 1600hrs (drop off & pick up at the Legion 127 Mill St)
